BANGLADESH - Smart Water Management Specialis/SCADA -m/f

Project: DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION FOR CUMILLA, ISHWARDI CLUSTER TOWNS & KHAGRACHARI TOWN

The objective of this project is:

• To improve living conditions and health of the people of the participating project towns
• To support provision of enhanced economic opportunities in the project area and its surroundings

Start date would be around July or Aug and estimated person months: 34
Education required: The SCADA and Smart Water Management Specialist should hold a post graduate degree in public health engineering, Instrumentation/electronics or relevant qualification
Experience required: -15 years of working experience in the management of operations of major water supply projects of which minimum 07 years in the IT enabled control of operations (like SCADA) of such water supply system having smart water management features. The water management should include un accounted for water (UFW) management, Area meters, leakage detection and leakage management etc.
-She/He should preferably have at least 5 years working experience in similar field in Bangladesh and/or elsewhere in the developing countries.
-Work experience in the project funded by MFls including ADB would be preferable.
-S/He should have good communication skills and should be able to contribute as a resource person for capacity building programs.
